Bizzare keyless entry problem

From local news station:

News 3 has learned that thousands of Las Vegas residents are having problems with their keyless entry systems on their cars. It seems to only be affecting American made cars, but owners want to know why. News 3's Steve Crupi is digging deeper into this bizzare phonomenon, and will have a live report on News 3 at 5 and 6.

It is true. I was one of those people. d**n keyless entry system was dead as a doorknob this morning and most of the day. Had to use the key to open the door and such. Just started working again, around 445pm PST. Weirdest d@mn thing. So far no explanation for what is going on. Probably some secret military project at 51

Bloody thing isn't working again...ahhhh. Keyless for my dad's sierra isn't working either. This is just getting annoying. I know it isn't hard to use the key, but I keep forgetting to lock my doors, it is habit just to hit the button.

Maybe the Loran station out there on the way to Laughlin is acting up, scrambling all the keyless frequencies.....I prefer the alien theory myself though.

Well after my last trip out there Randy, I know you have the means to unlock those doors should you leave the keys inside...though it might not be the prettiest.

Mine wasn't working either. I had to go to McCarran to pick up my girlfriend and it worked fine under the garage but as soon as I got home, it wasn't working again.

Been off and on all weekend.

I hear ya. D@mn thing is still not working right. Glad to know I am not the only one though. This is getting old fast.
