Please Help with Part

My 7-way connector on my hitch for my 2003 Silverado is broken. I would like to order a new one from gmpartsdirect.com, but I can't find the part #. Can someone please let me know what this part # is and also the # for the adaptor that turns thr 7-way into a 4-way. I want to stay with the OM parts because they have a nice clean fit. Thanks for all your help, Kevin

I'm no pro at gmpartsdirect, however.... I am staring at the 'genuine' GENERAL MOTORS SERVICE PARTS OPERATIONS (Grand Blanc, MI) Installation Instruction Sheet for a factory under-the-bumper hitch assy, c/w wiring. Part # 12463639. It doesn't work on gmpartsdirect (for me anyhow). Unfortunately, this set of destructions doesn't break down all the individual parts by number either. Be advised that 7 pin harness goes right up to the engine bay (all but the flat 4 wires). I sorta had hoped it just plugged right into the back somewhere. The 'flat four' wiring does but not when you get into the h/d 7 pin plug. All this is assuming you dont want to start splicing wires to replace your broken plug. I would call a local GM dealer parts dept will find out the number. Then they would give me a price too... Good luck, and please post the outcome for us. Thanks..
