2003 Incentives/Rebates

I went in to finalize the order for my truck today (GMC 1500 4x4 Quadrasteer) and to my surprise they had just gotten a sheet in with $1,000 rebate or incentive for 2003 models.

 

 

He mentioned something about (and I didn't really understand what he meant, as I was looking at truck info) they were running the lines as fast as possible and did not have as much downtime as usual.  I don't know about the validity of this, but thought someone might know more.

Due to the high demand of GM trucks, they added a third shift to one of the truck plants. GM said that they don't need to hire to staff this shift, they are just going to take people off of layoff status. They are truely living up to their "Keep America Rolling" campaign. I just picked up a 2002 GMC Envoy about a week ago and got 0% financing for 5 Years!! Unbelieveable but true.
