Got my Xterrain's on today

I must admit, I totally love these tires. They are super quiet and ride as smooth as silk for a 35" tire. They fit with no rubbing issues. I had 4 people ask me about them in WalMart's parking lot today. I will get some pics tomorrow of my old ProComp MT's next to the Xterrain's. I ended up putting over 60K miles on the MT's with about half of the tread still left. As far as driveability, so far they are very nice. They corner just as good as other tires I've had and they track really well, no wandering when driving straight. Can't wait to get them out in the mud at the farm. The final price was $698.70 out the door, the buy 3 get 1 free deal is well worth it! I'll get the pics up on the General picture board tomorrow hopefully. Chris

I loved the x-terrains when I had them on my silverado. I see they have 285's out now so as soon as I get extra $$$ i want to get some 16" rims and some 285's for the avy. Those tires don't just look awesome, but they have great performance.

Well today it rained all morning, so I just took some shots with the camera and posted them on my webshot album. As far as how the perform in rain. They did extremely well, on curves I didn't feel any kind of loss of grip. I didn't try to see if they are easy to break loose taking off, sure I will sometime, but not this new. But under normal acceleration, they didn't slip at all on the wet pavement. By far, these have been the best offroad tire I've had on pavement. Better than the MTR's, "old" style BFG MT's and the ProComp MT's I've had. Only time will tell if they are as good in the long run. They are so smooth and quiet for such an aggressive tire. Chris
