Where to look???

Ok, I managed to knock my tailgate off about a month ago and it warped it enough that I was told I'd probably be better off just finding another and having it repainted. Sooooo, where would you suggest I look? I have an '02 Silverado, but it's a sportside which will probably make it a little bit more difficult to find. I'm guessing junk yards will be a good starting place. Do you know of any websites? Do body shops sell stuff like that when they replace parts just b/c the insurance will cover it? Other ideas? Thanks in advance and msg me if you happen to have one ya wanna get rid of! (I'm gonna start a thread in the For Sale/Wanted section too.)

I've heard that carparts.com is a good place to get used parts from junkyards.

They specialize in late model GM parts.

 

If they say no, drop me a note there is another place close by that I know for a fact has them, but they aren't a part of this little intraweb thingy.

Another place to try is on RV BB's as some folks who tow fifth wheels replace the OEM tail gates with special gates. Someone maybe willing to sell theirs.
