Ok the truck still shakes down the road and had them ballanced on the truck (OLD SCHOOL). Found out one of the mtrs were out of round get a new one today.

So I hurt my hand and not working so I went and got Spin Tech mufflers and replaced that 1/4 barrel from under my truck.

If your even thinkink of Flowmaster STOP :troll:

The numbers you need are as follows.

5444

5443

They are different because one has a different offset so they sit side by side and straight

This is two mufflers from Spin tech. They fit right in place of your old one.

I still have my factoryTail pipe.

This truck has the 6.0 in it

No resonance in the cab. At 50 and up just crusin at 2100 rpm down the road you cant even tell there on there. Till you step on it.

They have a deep tone and rap when you get on it.Rapped against a Ford when I passed him.

Im not here to start a brawl with flowmaster but Spin tech has there s**t together on this one.

They cost me 89.95 per muffler and free install at Prescott muffler in AZ.

18 month warranty

There number is 928-445-0881

AIR RAID Tomorrrow

And will I notice that new Westers after all of this?

I do Tow a 24, car Hauler to The Glamis Sand Dunes about 8 times ayear but other than that just want to go fast.

I also have 35 tires on it.

I want to run low octane fuel also

Which One? :loser:

I first heard about Spin Tech about 2 yrs ago, I knew they had arcing mufflers, but I never knew that they worked w/ street cars too. I have yet to hear a Spin Tech set-up that didn't please my ears.

They really do have their act together, yes. It'a hard to believe that even with it being a "chambered" like muffler, they have VERY low resonance on most cars. I'm guessing that from the price you stated you're running the Sportsman Streets, good choice. I currently have their Pro street on my 4.3 S-10 blazer, and it's AWESOME! Sounds waaaay closer to a V8 than a Flowmaster would, and for such a small muffler, theres very low interior sound, only around 45 cruise or so, if I drop it out of drive though too, but the sound it produces I love. I've never heard Spin Tech's on a 6.0 or 8.1, but a handful of 5.3 and 4.8 ltr trucks. I couldn't beliee the sound that they put out! After having a Spin Tech installed my my friends4.0 Cherokee, my Blazer, and hearing a few other set-ups, I'M A BELIEVER!

Their design is flawless. The "venturi" design pruces a mean as hell sound, but it's also deep and refined, no resonance on most vehicles (don't know about 6 liters, every1 says they drone), but d**n they have a nice product. I'm lookin into ordering a universal tailpipe from Magnaflow and then purchasing a Sportsman Street muffler for my mom's 03. I'm also planing on swaping my 70 series with a dual spin tech set-up.

They are an awesome muffler, I just don't reccomend them for 6.0's since I have yet to hear one with them, but ehy do sound good on most GM's! :loser:

Bud,

I've got the same dual 3" in/out muffler on my 8.1/6-spd. I think it sounds incredible. Would probably sound even better on an auto. Got it hooked up to dual 3" tails out the rear now, but it sounded ok on the stock tailpipe too.
