Looking to buy or replace my stock CD player.

Question: How on gods-green-earth do I remove the front piece of the dash to access the rca terminals in the back of the sterio and hook up a disk man until I get a replacement?

I don't know much about the S series as far as dash trim removal, but I would be willing to put a buck or two on the idea that it probably doesn't even require tools....Just some strategic tugging.

As for the stereo, there are no RCA plugs on the back of the stereo.

Pretty much your only option there is to buy an LOC (Line Output Converter). Basically, you would splice one end into your speaker wires and the other end would have RCA plugs.

--But that's for speaker wires--

If you are talking about plugging a discman into the "AUX" portion of the factory deck, I'm not sure that it would work. You would first have to buy the AUX adapter in order to plug it right in, and I don't know that the adapter has RCA plugs on it, or that it would even accept signals from a discman. Or that the discman would take commands from the stereo for that matter.

I think you may be SOL on that one.

Somebody correct me on any of these points if I'm wrong.

So is your stereo now have a cassette player? If so goto your local Best Buy and get a cassette to diskman adapter kit. They are not that much I don't think. like $20 if that.

I think my post was mis-understood...He was looking for a radio & CD player but I saw one on Ebay with a combination CD & CASSETTE in the same radio unit...

Dash comes off fairly easy, but there are some screws that hold the bottom part on, take it off and you'll have a little more room.

I MIGHT have one I can sale you , but it is not here, it is at my parents and it would be a while before I get there. As for the tempoary discman hook up I think you're SOL. The one on Ebay sounds like something you might want to check into.
