Torsion Bar Results----

Welp I measured the distance before / after cranknig the t-bars.

 

Before the bolts were almost all the way out.

Lower A arms were on the bump stops.

 

I turned all but 1/4" of the bolt in.

 

Before was 3ft from ground to bottom of fender flare in the center @ 45psi front

 

After it was 3ft 1in from ground to bottom of fender flare in the center.

 

1" and the screws are cranked almost to the max. It dosent ride too bad---the ride is really bad from the rear where I tightened up the shackles to attempt to stop the clanking.

 

If I put these green keysin, can I at least get the front level with the back?

 

The ride isnt much different now, so I can tolerate alittle bit more "roughness"

 

About the shocks..what's the max out on them?

 

And finally.... how do you get these things in...I've never messed with torsion bars....

Now it works

 

I ordered my green keys.....HOpefully I'll have them in, within the next few weeks
