What gives

I replaced the distruibritor cap, rotor, sparkplug wires, and now the truck runs worse.

1989 chevy 2500 4x4 350 5.7L

is there any name brand wires, caps, rotors to stay away from.

 

I have everything hooked up correctly......

Is everything AC Delco? try to stay stock unless modifying.

How did it run before? What were the symptoms?

 

How about after? Same type of issues? Better at higher RPM's?

 

What brand plugs?

Did you check the timing,correct wire pattern,correct plug gap?
