How do you repair a sagging armrest on the bucket seats?

What year is your truck? Is it still under warranty?

It's a 2001 and it is out of warranty....

Na I like it too much!!! Is there a set screw or something to remove the armrest?

My armrest also started to sag when i first took delivery. The problem was were the armrest connected to the seat, it must have pulled away from the pin located in the seat. i just pushed real hard on it, and it snaped back into place. I don't know if you have the same condition but it's something to consider.

You can feel the pin that stops the armrest so maybe that will work! I'll try it tonight! Thanks!

Tried snapping armrest back into place....Didn't work..... Anyone else have any ideas?

If I remember correctly, you need to remove the cover off the armrest.

 

Under the cover is a bolt that releases the armrest. The armrest will need to be replaced, though.
