Performance products for TrailBlazer and Envoy

I've been searching for an exhaust system, free flowing intake and performance ECU module for my new Trailblazer with no luck. Jet told me they 'may' have something in late spring. Is there anything out there? If not, why? I want some more power. Power is your friend. <grin>

I hear you  :music:  I havent found much either, but the way they seem to be selling now I would think alot of parts should be showing up soon.  Atleast I hope so.

The Avalanch guys went through the same problem last year when they first came out.  It took a good 6-8 months before aftermarket products began to hit the shelf.  It will take at least that long for the Trailblazer, because it is 100% new.  (The Av guys at least have the Suburban chassis and drive train under them...)

Thats true, all the manufactors also probally waited to see how it sold before making a bunch of items.  I guess since sales seem to be very good, we will hopefully start to see a lot of cool things for our Trailblazers

One of the Car/Truck mags out there just did a test on a twin turbo Trail Blazer.  It has 400hp and 400tq    I say thats a start.  I haven't read it yet so I don't know much about it.  I just know its not a production model.  You never know.

That was in motortrend, and there were some comments about considerations for production (though there have also been considerations for producing a Silverado SS... )  They said it would probably cost in the $45k range   Still was a great looking truck (AWD turbo...can you say GMC Syclone? :P )

As to performance mods for the new TrailBlazer, have you considered making your own air intake?  It really isn't that difficult, you just have to lay out some plumbing, make sure the sensors are still in place,  and strap a K&N cone filter to the end.  Might not be quite as good as something from an aftermarket company (might be better, though), but it's cheaper and you can have it now.
