high beams only work 10% of the time

[GMC_MTR_4X4]

On my 97 z71 the highbeams only come on once and a while (very rarely) when the vehicle is warm never when it is cold. It doens't seem to cut in and out due to rattling wich leads me to beleive that it has nothing to do with the electrical conection but I could be wrong. Im just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any suggestions.

Volts = Amps * Ohms

 

your going to have to diagnose it. My guess is the switch.
