Door Panel Removal

I was wondering if any one had instructions on how to remove the inside door panels on a 2002 Chevy Silverado standard cab. I am installing new side view mirrors and I need to run the wirring. So if any one has any info I would greatly appreciate it.

Its acutally quite simple. On mine there are 3 screws, two on the bottom, one in the center under the armrest. remove the "Sail panel" which is right behind the mirror but inside, it simple pops off. Pop out your door lock slider with a small screwdriver, then pop out and unplug any power window/locks you might have. I think thats it. Then lift straight up on the panel and then out and it should come right off.

On my 99, I don't have to remove the two screws at the bottom. There are 2 7mm screws, one behind the panel around the handle, and one that can be accessed when you remove the master switch and bezel. First, remove the triangle panel where the side view mirror is, next remove the switch/bezel assembly by prying with a small screwdriver,(there should be notches where you pry), unplug the connectors, next remove the panel around the handle by prying at the lowest point to the rearmost of the door, remove the door lock knob by prying carefully at either the right or left side. Now you should be able to lift straight up and the panel will come off, but you still have to unplug the connectors for the tweeter and the courtesy light. Assuming that an 02 and a 99 are the same, if not, sorry for the wrong info.
