Brake problems???

I was on the second part of a 1000 mile drive sunday and I had something strange happen. Crusing along the highway for about 3 hours straight and hit some traffic....I slowed down normally, and my parking brake light, and ABS light come on......no other symptoms. When I turn the truck off, and back on the lights clear......It happend again as I was getting off the highway and braking on the ramp.

 

The only thing I can think of is that it was really hot....97, maybe the heat has something to do with it. I have had this problem before, when I took it to the stealer they found a bad hub seal on the rear axle (it was fixed under warrenty).

 

Has anyone had this problem or have any idea what the light mean? As I said before the truck brakes normally, and makes no strange noises or feelings to it.

Could be a bad sensor on one of your wheels.

that's what I was thinking after reading some of the post on here. What gets me is that it was doing this earlier, and they blamed it on the hub seal. O well I know those things are expensive and it will just make my extended warrenty worth it. They'll probably find a way to blame it on my "oversized" tires

Your hub seal can leak and get grease on the sensor. That will give you a light.
