Installed a 99 Blazer console (sunroof version) with full trip computer on Thurs. Install went fairly smooth, took about 7 hours with LOTS of breaks (it was about 90 on the driveway).

Nice. I am facing a similar situation upgrading from compass/temp to full trip. Is there any chance you can send me some detailed info on how to do this or point me in the right direction. I have a 2001 chev blazer LT and trying to install an overhead console from a 99 blazer. Someone else told me that I need a class II serial bus connection to the BCM?? Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thats awesome! You know I have had the Temp./directional mirror that I got off of ebay from newer model trucks and I have been too lazy to mount the thing! I need to do it, I have all the mounting instructions just need to take the time!
