Larger rims for 04 Sierra Denali

Does anyone know if you are able to put larger rims on the 04 Sierra Denali? I went to the GM accessories website and see they offer 20 inch rims but state not for trucks with quadrasteer. Any suggestions would help.

Not sure what effect quadrasteer would have on the wheels, or how a larger diameter wheel would hurt it.

 

That's weird...I would call the dealerships parts/service dept and ask them.

I have 22" rims on my '04 Denali. I have no problems with rubbing or ride harshness. The '04 Denali doesn't have a tire pressure sensor gauge inside the tire stem, so with that there isn't a problem running a taller rim.

I'm guessing GM doesn't recommend the rims for quadrasteer due to a "weight" issue.

I know of three Sierra Denali owners that have big wheels, 2 with 20's and 1 with 22's. They're not complaining.

Thanks for the feedback. What size tires on the 20 and 22 inch rims and what brand?? Gm says there will be a rubbing issue.

I am running Kumho STX 305/40R22 with no rubbing. The tires are incredible, btw.

 

 

These are ECO OZZ 88 Rims
