Help:Compass Temp in the overhead wireing harness

Howdy! New here! Just found the forum. Some great stuff here! What I'm looking for is on my 1998 Chev Silverado C1500 in the overhead unit I didn't have the temp/compass module. Well I bought one and put it in but I need the plugs or the entire wireharness would be nice. Anyone have anything on plumming one of these in? Schematics would be awesome. When I had it out I thought I might get lucky and find the harness there for it already.. not! So I'm sure someone out there added one of these in at one time. Any and all help is greatly apperciated!! Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about the the overhead console or the rearview mirror?

The overhead console with the temp/compass is from a s-10 blazer, not a c1500. You will have to find the plugs in a blazer/jimmy/bravada.

Hmmm I thought some C1500's had the overhead compass and temp set up. How about the Yukon's or Blazers? Would they have them as well?

Yukons, Tahoes, Silverados, Sierras, Suburbans, Escalades, Denalis.........all full size stuff had the temp and the compass in the mirror only.

The console is from something s-10 platform.

Got ya.. I guess my next question is has anyone put one in their Yukon, Tahoe, Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Escalade, or Denali? I hope so.. I don't want to be the ice breaker!
