dyno update...more info

soo, got her on the dyno tonight at 9pm...

 

heres all the data and the things i was told.

truck dynoed with stock chip and 22's. fmu was at different turns as we had made many runs. but i only have one dyno sheet so the data i give u is off that.

 

it dynoed at 300hp and 372tq. (last time was 330/382)

 

A/f was 15.2:1 @2600 rpm, then would taper down to13.1:1 @ 3800 rpm, then rise slowly up to 14.5:1 @ 4600 rpm.

 

fuel pressure read 70 psi at 4lbs of boost, 74psi at 5.5lbs of boost.

 

the guys were tellin me that i need bigger injectors, and i informed them it ain't possible on this motor. ut they do not believe me and we will be looking into this further... we use Denso injectors???

 

also, they told me to re-gap the spark plugs to .030.... ya'll told me .035 right? my guys said that by lowering the gap, the a/f will come down a lil more.

 

also, with the fmu, we turned the dial from 0 to 2 turns in increments of 1/4. all the time, the a/f would come out basically the same range...

 

another thing, i wonder, is what is the ratio on the ati fmu? is it a 12:1 or a 8:1.

 

and lastly, i was reading the adv. ignition timing from the scanner. with the westers tune, timing was

-24* in boost at 4psi, with the stock tune, timing was -18* at 4psi... did lyndon add timing or take it out? let me know what i need to tell him so i can get a new chip done up..

 

i know i have posted a lot of info! this is what u guys have asked me to do, so please give me all the feedback u can! i appreciate guys! Really, i do! a lot!!!!

i just wanted to mention, that the Wester Tune i got was NOT USED!!! this dyno info was done on a stock chip!!!

 

his chip was working great, but pinging a lil, and i did not want to risk using it when on the dyno. He is working with me to get my problems worked out!

he is an AWESOME guy! soo don't get me wrong or quote me wrong..
