Sirius radio anyone??

Looking into Siruis Radio and I am looking at the models that you can take in the house and use in the truck. They offer several brands.

 

Is one better or worse than the other? Which do you prefer and why?

 

Any and all advice/comments are appreciated. We started getting this on our Dish Network and I love it!! I want it in the truck and the shop and $12 per month is pretty cheap!

I've got a Kenwood. the receiver mounts in a base that has an FM transmitter. you set the xmitter to 88.1, 88.3, 88.5, 88.7. then tune your radio into that freq.

I not ashamed of it but I've just got mine stuck to the top of the dash above the radio.. Nothing hi-tech and it's handy to operate.

I am totally satisfied with the programming. the sound is CD quality..

The only complaint I have is it s hard to read in direct sun light..

If you want part numbers let me know.

Also, i can listen to it in my 5th wheel. I just park within 10 to 15 feet line of sight and tune in the radio.!

I bought the adapter from JD Customs that ties into the auxilliary input for my Kenwood Sirius tuner. I'm not real fond of the display because it is only one line with 16 characters.

 

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to fit the new Kenwood double din navigation system into the 1 1/2 din opening in my '00 Yukon.
