00 Blazer Whistles

High pitched whistle starts after my blazer gets warm. Its pretty loud when im at idle. Started after I did a tune up about 3 months ago. Please Help

Maybe a vacuum leak, you could have accidently disconnected a hose while trying to get to the distributor... Look around the dist. and spark plugs, for any disconnected hoses, or connections.

 

I assume it is coming from the engine?

 

Try and track it down to the approx area it is coming from... Then take a stethoscope with out the end on it (or just a piece of hose) and put the ear pieces in your ears, or one end of the hose to your ear, and move around the other end until you hear it get louder. Just go through it and see if you can find it.

Yep, a vacuum leak would make it run rough.

 

I was also thinking that if you didn't snap down your air filter lid good then it might make a whistling sound, however I am not sure if it would make it run rough also.
