Parking brake????

I have a 99 Silverado Z71 and need to adjust the parking brake.  This must be an easy thing to do.  Has anyone preformed this and walk me through what needs to be done.

I need to get the yearly State inspection and it will not pass until I get this fixed.

If it's under warranty I'd say take it in.  Otherwise someone who has done a body lift themselves should know because they would have had to have done it.  Try this site:
