SuperSprings, or Roadmaster ??

I'm considering adding either the Supersprings kit or the Roadmaster Active Suspension kit to my 02 4x4 1500 truck.

Has anybody here installed one of them? Your experience/opinions?

My hope is to get a little more load support in the rear suspension - maybe some extra anti-sway benefit too - without stiffening up the ride a lot when running empty. Do they work that way?

I might go with that Rancho RS9000X deal too, but that could be redundant. :D

Wa da ya think?

I dont know about the Supersprings kit or the Roadmaster Active Susp....but I did replace the rear springs in my '95 1/2ton with a set of 5-leaf 3/4 ton springs and the truck rode like a rock :D ...I landed up ordering a set of Velvet-Ride shackles in order to soften the ride a bit, they work great and dont affect the load carrying abilities of my truck....but I did land up spending more $$$ for the whole set-up than I was planning too :D

Try some Monroe Sensatrac Load-carrying shocks. They're the Sensatrac shock with a coil-over spring. They work very very well at keeping the back end from sagging with a load and, when empty, they ride very smoothly. They're cheaper than active suspension, too. And, they control sway, too.

I helped my dad install the Roadmaster Active Susp. on his Durango. Yes, it's a different vehicle but the results may be similar.

Install was fairly simple. He said the ride didn't change but the handlig did, ever so slightly. It DID help with rear end sag when the 28' TT was hooked up. It also helped some with handling while towing.

He now has a Ram 2500HD Hemi to handle that load. Tail barely sags on that when the TT is dropped on, BEFORE the WD bars go on.
