Painting Fender Flares

Recommended Posts

I've found some fender flares for a '00 silverado on ebay for about $150. My truck is a two-tone storm grey metallic/pewter, so I don't think it would like very good to just leave them black. About how much would it cost to paint them pewter?

I bought a set of smooth flares off e-bay to replace my black textured flares that came on my truck, my body shop guy charged me $80 which I think is very cheap, the materials alone would cost more than this.

I would think $120 - $200 would be a going rate ?????

^^Thanks man. Wow, $80 is a steal, man. Should I take them to the dealership to be painted, or can the paint be matched by just about anyone? I'm sure it would cost more at a dealership.

I own a bodyshop and sell accessory here also. I charge $100 if they were purchased here and an additional $50 if they wern't .The color can be matched at any quality bodyshop, the dealer bodyshops and independant shops all use the same technology.
