any good feedback on throttle body spacers, looking at poweraid? (96 yukon gt 5.7)

will throttle body spacer work with an air induction system such as k & n or airaid?

Bought one of the cheaper ones off eBay. Seemed to notice a little more power above 2000 RPM. The big thing was it does not seem to use as much gas, did not do a real check, MPG before and after, just the needle seems to take longer going down.

It is a tight fit with the fan shroud(w/stock components) and the throttle cable bracket it up against the Vortec cover. It is also a good time to do the throttle body heater bypass too.

The throttle body spacers are complete BS.

The spacer can work with aftermarket intakes, you have to get different hardware to do it though.

On your 96 the throttle body by-pass is un-necessary since it doesn't have coolant running through it anyway :tear: That only applies to the GEN III engines

MPFI - Waste

TBI - Theory states that it should be beneficial. The 3rd gen camaro guys love them..... that tells me all I need to know.
