optimum length headers?

Ive got an 02 sierra 5.3 Ive been reasearching my ass of looking everywhere online reading forums and calling manufacturers. What Im looking for are headers that are bigger than shorties and will still allow me to have low end torque, also I dont want to have to do any cutting and welding. I plan on installing exhaust at the same time. Is there such a thing?

your going to have to cut and weld if you want to go with long tube headers which are the best, at least much better than shorties which will bolt up, im not sure about manufcatuers but check out tom's site, im going to get the stainless steel works long tube headers for my yukon. also a smaller diameter will increase low end and bigger diametere will increase high end power, but im not sure who makes long tubes for the 5.3
