warning flashers

Does anyone know of a webpage where I can get the part to make the front flashers flash like a strobe ? Our construction trucks have them and sometimes I take my own truck to work instead of theirs.

you would need to install actually strobes and a strobe controller like wheelen

Try checking with local safety equipment companies or do a Google search on safety equipment to find some on-line vendors. you can get "wig-wags" to install for flahing your existing lighting. They are used on police and emergency vehicles.

as gixxer suggested, you would need a separate stobe power pack with, cable leads to the lights where you want to install the strobe bulb.

there are several strobe power packs avail, in 4,6,8 + outlets. depending on how many lights you want to have flash.

installation of the strobe bulb requires drilling into the lens housing, and the bulb is installed.

 

i suggest the strobes be placed in the marker lights/signal light locations so the headlights dont 'drown' out the flasher. also make sure you are compliant with any local laws concerning flashing lights and colors.
