Cruise Control

I am having a problem and I know I will find the answers here. These forums are so informative and the all you people that partcipate are just great. I had an aftermarket cruise put on my S-10 when I bought it in 1995. Now when I push the buttom to set it, instead of holding it accelerates. Is that something that can be fixed, cleaned, etc. Or is it just junk and time to put another one on? Please help!!!

Try unhooking the power supply to it and that will reset it if there is a glitch in its system.

hmm... i wouldnt waste my time finding the glitch unless the unit cost alot but those things can't be anymore then 30 bucks... or are they ?
