A/C Heater fan not working right

Hey guys,

I have a 98 chevy silverado and the heating fan just started to do something wierd. If the speed control is set to lo or the next two positions it is like i only have a low fan but when you turn it to high then the fan picks up and goes to high. So basicly i only have low and high and nothing inbetween. I have been looking in my haynes manual and am thinking it is the Blower resistor but i have no idea where it might be. Any ideas?

Sounds like your blower resistor burned out. It's always located close to the blower motor, will have a connector with about 4 or 5 wires, and is held in with one or two screws.
