Anybody modified their stock airbox?

Just curious before I drop the cash on a custom intake system...... If you did photos and instructions would be great!!

I did before getting the K&N fipk. It seemed to work good but just had my mind set that it would be better with the other kit. I really don't know if it changed anything with the fipk. I used my factory airbox with a drop in k&n filter and cut a hole in the bottom of the airbox and mounting tray. I ran a 3" pipe from the bottom of the airbox down to my front airdam. After I got the fipk kit I still used the air intake from the front to pull more air into the filter.

Impressive. Some of you guys have some really good fab skills to say the least. I didn't even really know how to start..... I think I am just going to bite the bullet and get a fipk. Only one anyone really talks about.
