Lower ball joints...

On my 89 GMC Sierra 4X4 do you have to use a press to get the lower ball joints off. Is is a hard job to do because the shop wants about ? labor?

I haven't done the job on my '92 4x4 yet but it looks in the shop manual like the lowers are not pressed in like the 2wds I've done in the past.  Shows them to be bolted in.  Looks like the torsion bars may casue some grief, too--requires a special tool to get the tension off of them.  I'd certainly get a manual and study it a little harder before I made the decision to do it myself.
