i was trying to decide what lift????

hey every one i'm needing help trying to find on what lift i should go with i just got my truck yesterday(98 Z71 silverado) and im ready to lift it but the problem is im just not sure on witch to go with. i do know that i want to a 6 inch lift on my truck. at frist i wanted fab-tech but i found out about the front wheels sticking out. im not going to do to much off-roading but i want to know that i could any time and something not go wrong. please help thanks

Hey there, I put on a Rancho 4" lift on my 95' side step. If you crank the t-bars, you get a full six inches. They can't advertise it as a six because of something, i forget. Anyway, just my two cents.

thanks i will look in to it but im really thinkin about super lift i would like to get it but it is very expensive but hey nothing cheep but thanks for the advice

My buddy has a 6" Explorer Procomp with the trailing arms. Rags the hell out of it. No problems with the suspension. If I were you, that is the way I'd go. But hey...you know what opinions are like. I usually go with what my crazy friends can't break. It has been airborne many times...and not just the front wheels.

Procomp advertises that its kits don't make the wheels stick out. But check the backspacing requirements for your individual kit.

i agree with you, i don't like that look with the wheels sticking out the sides. to make sure this does not happen, look only at lifts that do not use replacement steering knuckles, and run a 16x8 wheel not a 16x10
