tranfer case valve

1988 S-10 blaze 2.8 89,000 mi auto , ok you guys helped me find the vacum valve by the battery that locks the diff , it does not seem to move is there a way to lock the front end up and do away with the valve , i only use thie truck to plow my driveway and drive in the woods by the house , it will never see the road , also the last owner has removed the pcb valve and ran a house from the valve cover to the bottom of the truck, what cause's high breather pressure, ahhh it gets worse , is it common for the front trany seals to let go on these trucks mine is leaking like crazy , it is 5 degrees tonight so tomorrow i will get under and hope that it is the pan gasket , now i know why the truck was free .

manually pull the cable out towards the vacuum switch and lock it there with a pair of visegrips.

The t-case lever will still have to be in 4wd for the front driveshaft to be engaged.
