A Few Snow Pictures...

It's been a mild winter up to now around here but we got our first decent snowfall a day ago. About 4 to 5 inches fell and the temp has been as low as 2* last night. Snapped a few pictures before I blew the snow off my truck:

What do you guys think of my new Remington Hitch Cover? Just got it a few days ago.

Back yard:

A load of firewood I cut at my dads place. That's my 20" Stihl MS440 Magnum and trusty old 14" Homelite XL:

I've been busy stocking up wood but until now I haven't had to burn much of it.

Agreed. And pertaining to the second part of Truckman's post, I think HillHound's state (West Virginia) allows for only one license plate necessary to be displayed. If I'm wrong, please correct me. I'm not sure if that's the reason, but it could very well be.

And yes, in West Virginia only a rear license plate is required. The front one is just for fun! I didn't realize so many states require a front & rear plate.

Yeah, I lived in SoCal for 6 years, and Colorado for 3. The whole time, I kept my truck registered in Oklahoma, which only requires rear plates.

I would get pulled over at least 3 times a year for not having a front plate.

Never was a problem though.

Nice truck. What part of WV are you in Hillhound? I'm from Pendleton County. Currently stationed in western NC, and missing winter snow badly. (People round here SAY they get snow, but so far it seems a whole lot like coastal VA was when I was there- snows everywhere all AROUND where I'm at, but rains there.)

I didn't know that many required both either. I'm lucky though, GA is rear only.

Thanks. Right now I'm in Preston County close to Morgantown. It's been a pretty mild winter so far but I'm sure we'll get it sooner or later! I enjoy the snow but after a month or two it gets old and I'm ready for some warmer weather!

What branch of the military are you in? A quick salute to you!

Good question! I owned a Silverado 5.3L Z71 and started looking at this site. Traded the Chevy for the 3/4t Ford two years later and liked the site and many of it's members so well I just never left! I try not to step on any toes and everyone seems to put up with me albeit with an occasional jab at my "F*rd"!

Anyway, my wife has a Trailblazer so I really do have a "GM Truck" in my driveway along with a GM car!

US Air Force. Got over thirteen years in so far, so I'm definitely working to finish out at least 20. After that we're probably gonna head for the Chicago area (I really like the climate- snow lovin dope that I am, ), and we all miss the more pampered suburban life. Didn't realize we'd been so spoiled by fast food delivery, nearby shopping, broadband internet service, actual neighborhoods (especially during Halloween for the kids- where you could just walk out your door to go treatin', instead of having ma' and pa' drive you to the nearest town or mall) .
