Anything is possible, it all depends on how much money you want to spend or if you have the skills how much time you want to spend.

I've already seen an LS1 installed into a Colorado, which has a shorter engine compartment than the Envoys/Trailblazers, so it should be possible dimension wise.

OR you just have to wait until next year when the Trailblazer SS comes out which has one of those perdy little things already installed. (at least thats the info I've read)

It's not the same perdy little thing as he pictures above though. That one in the Envoy or TB makes the SS seem a bit weak :)

BTW, the Envoy Denali currently has the 5.3 in it now, doesn't it?

Do you recall the name of the installer and perhaps a contact phone number?

The Denali Envoy was supposed to start production last week of January '05. They will have a 5.3L V8 as standard. I plan to go to our local spring auto show next week. They probably will have one on display there.

Thanks for the PM and link above.

I'll do some contacting. Looks like the PCM is gonna be a bish to get worked out. I'm thinking swaping the engine would be the easy part, getting it to operate properly without any throwing of codes, etc. will be a real challenge.
