Snow Plow package ???

Can someone post a pic of the "high-flow" front bumper that is included on the snow plow package? Also, is this package available with the 8.1/Allison ??

Mine has the snow plow package. I have never looked to see if this is any different than the other bumpers.

It's my understanding that ALL HD's are now coming with the high flow bumpers. I don't know why they are still listing it as part of the snow plow prep. pkg.

I thought that it only came on 8.1's and 6.6. I say this because my buddy had an 02 with an 8.1, sold it bought an 02 EXT cab with a 6.0, and he bought the different bumper cover with the holes in it to help with cooling. I don't think my 05 6.0 has the cover with the holes in it. I think only big blocks and diesels had it.

My 2004 Gmc 2500HD 6.0 with plow package has the same bumper as pictured above.

Just a guess but maybe has something to do with the wires for the roof mount beacon that is required in many areas if you plow.

I had heard that a snowplow puts a lot of stress/torque on the truck including the body and the sunroof weakens the roof enough to cause wrinkling when a heavy snowplow is used and the body is twisting with the frame..
