Switchblade Keys?

Just curious does anyone know if we can get switchblade keys for the 02+ Trailblazer/Envoy/Bravada/Ranier?

My Bravada keys has an unfortunate accident with sulfuric acid in a chem lab today and I need a new set, but I want something nifty like the VW Switchblade keys.

I searched for awhile one time for the Rodeo style keys, they have the remote built into the key's head. Never found them for anything else, didn't see the switchblades either.

I found some switchblades on Ebay for Saturn, Saab, Mitsuibishi and some other brands. I emailed the guy and maybe he can custom make one for me.

Do we have transponders in our keys? I have a guy that may be able to do it.

I don't think you do. One way to check is try starting it with a walmat (or generic) cut key. if it starts then you don't.

I have a 2004 TrailBlazer and made copies of my keys at HD. For grins, I used one of the new cut keys on the way home with no problem. So I'm guessing no transponder.
