Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about getting a set of these. I just ordered a set for my new 1500 HD and learned they are in short supply and will be discontinued soon.

I live on about 5 miles of washboard road and have had a pair on a '98 K2500 for quite a while and they are a BIG improvement for this type of road. When I learned they were going to be discontinued I orderd a spare set "just in case" because I would not want to be without them.

You can see them at www.lord.com and they are $160 including shipping. They replace the rear leaf spring shackles and were very easy to do on my truck at least.

  18-NA-125 is the document from the OEM, GM, and yet; and although they give a full and detailed discussion of the inputs and outputs your conclusion is ? Am I reading that right? They gave you the answer and your response is , I'm trusting it anyway? Have you ever heard me say, "I don't do irrational"?

  "Pre existing lifter damage" What exactly do you mean by that? You should be asking for service records. Any warranty work performed as odds are if a truck has had a lifter or lifters and camshaft replaced that is a 2022.5+up, it was likely done under warranty. These DI engines have normal ticking noises such as the fuel injectors and high pressure fuel pump, so some noises will definitely be normal. A lifter that isn't pumping hydraulically all the way will stand out as it will be an intermittent tick, not a steady one. So like "tick_______tick tick_____tick_________tick tick tick___tick____tick_" It will most likely go away too about 5-7 minutes of run time. That truck would need a lifter or lifters but not because of the deactivation lock pin failing, but because its not building oil pressure to it right away. A collapsed lifter will be very obvious. It will be snapping or popping out the intake.
