extra guages

Has anyone added extra guages?

I am thinking about getting the double guage pod that mounts to the a-pillar trim.  I want to add an oil temp guage and a trans temp guage.  

In reality I should be adding a temp guage for my stereo but I don't really want to get back into stereos.

What guages would be better suited to keep an eye on what my truck is up to?
