Slightly used Magnaflow Muffler 3/3 5x18

A little to loud for my taste (read: too loud for the wife ).

 

This is a Magnaflow, wide open, aluminized muffler p/n 12289 (5x8x18). This has 3" inlet/outlet and dual 3" inlets/outlets. Magnaflows are reversible so take your choice.

I currently have it as a 3" in and dual 3" outs to the stock "Y" pipe and then out the stock 3" tailpipe. Have already ordered a 12579 (3" in/3" out, 22" long) to calm her down a bit.

It gives a very good growl on acceleration and a slight gurgle at idle. Pretty silent at 60 mph but you will hear it under load and at startup. Got this off Ebay ($85, NIB) and have put about 500 miles on it. Will have it available to ship by Fri (5/13). Looking for $65 shipped to the lower 48. My loss - your gain.

Do you still have the set up available? Can it be shipped to North Pole, Alaska 99702 or Fairbanks, Alaska? If so, will it fit a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 reg cab 2wd with a 5.3L?

Anyway, still have it, was actually going to ebay-it this weekend. Checked on shipping to your Zip and it would run around $30 big ones (not exactly sure of weight and dim's yet). I would sell it to you for $75 shipped. It really only has about 500 miles on it. I assume it would fit your '02 w/5.3L. You might wanna check to be sure, tho. I have the stock avlanche "y" still on the dual outlets, so if you are planning on running duals out the rear, I could cut the "y" pipe off and save on packaging. Just let me know.

Yep North Pole. Its not too cold yet but it is starting to cool down lately. I'm active duty Air Force stationed up here in Alaska. Just got here in june, so far I really like it. Lots of hunting and fishing to do. Your offer sounds great, and i planned on leaving the exhaust set up as is. That is the side exit I mean. Unless it is not too difficult to put the duals out the back like you mentioned? Anyway I will take the whole set up you have. I will have to wait till payday which is the 1st of September. Us military folks only have money twice a month the 1st and 15th (lol). So, I hope you agree with this if not just shoot me a message and let me know.
