AMP hook up

Hey im hooking up my subs tonight and i was just wondering were i could run my 12v wire through the firewall. in my 1998 z71

Where are you installing the amp?

 

I would drill a hole in the firewall and add a fitted graumet so their is no chance of rubbing the wire against the firewall.

 

I would also drill this hole in the side that your battery is on. Make sure you keep your RCA's away from the Power cable.

 

make sure that there is no way for water to get through and no area's with metal showing... no need for a "Short"
