Anyone have pics of a 3"bl with stock tires?

Hello I was looking for any 3" body lift pics with the stock tires? I have a PA lift ordered and gap guards and will be keeping my Bridgestone Revo's which are 265/70/17 and my Mojave AR wheels, just curious how the body lift will look on stock tires since these don't have many miles on them and I can't afford bigger tires right now, thank you.

These are with the stock 265/75/16 tires before I added the gap guards, air dam, and put my step rails back on. They lasted about a month until I got 285/75/16's. :D I think I'm going with 305/70/16's next.

I just had my 3" body lift put on, and have Mojave AR wheels with the stock size Revo tires, but looking at your pic I know you have the 285s mounted on aftermarket wheels, have you had any trouble with the tires hitting your bumper or anything? I just know on mine it's close now with the 8" wheel, and the tire guy I talked to said I would need to cut my bumper or it would hit. I am just worried if the weight was on one side or the other when I was making a turn that the tire would hit the edge of the bumper, unless I went back to my stock wheels, I guess it's a trade off on the looks of an aftermarket wheel or a little more height with a larger tire and my stock wheels?

The only place I've noticed it rubbing is on the passengers side, on the piece of rubber gap guard i installed in the wheel well. The back inside edge of the tire rubs very slightly against it every now and then. I might be able to pull it back more and zip tie it out of the way, but I always forget about it.

Mine is not close to rubbing the bumper. Maybe a little close on the air dam, but that can be trimmed off with a dremel tool so that it looks prety good.

I've been contemplating doing a BL to my new truck... what shocks did you go to after the install? Not too familiar with what all is involved. How is the ride afterward? Still similar to stock but only higher? How would it compare to a suspension lift?

I've never own a truck with a suspension lift, so I can't comment on that. I have heard most people say they ride better than before when you get a kit and replace the shocks with it.

As for the B/L, you don't have to change the shocks because nothing at all is changed with the suspension. The ride was exactly the same also. Basicly, all your doing is putting bigger spacers between you frame and body to raise it up. You may have a slightly higher center of gravity, but I havn't noticed any difference.

When I changed from the stock Firestone 265/75/16 tires to the BFG 285/75/16 tires, the ride became a little stiffer because the BFG's are D classs tires versus the C class Firestones that were on it before. It wasn't anything that I concidered bad though.
