I HAVE A 2002 2500HD DMAX EXTENDED CAB. I AM WANTING TO CHANGE FROM HALF POWER CLOTH SEATS TO FULL POWER AND HEATED LEATHER SEATS. I HAVE THE SEATS AND WAS WONDERING IF THIS IS POSSIBLE TO DO WITHOUT SWAPPING WIRING HARNESS IN THE WHOLE CAB? ALSO, WILL IT WORK WITHOUT REPROGRAMMING THE COMPUTER. THANKS

Power seats with heat come with a memory module. The memory module needs to talk over the vehicle comm bus. You are missing this content from your vehicle body harness. So the answer is yes it is possible, but no it won't be easy.

Your gonna need:

Cavity/pinout assignments for both driver and passenger seats.

The correct terminal and connector housing mating components to the seat. You will need electrical terminal crimp tool for varying gauge sizes form 3.0mm to 0.35mm.

Essentially, you will be rebuilding the connection from the seat to the body harness. The body-side connector you have is different than the one you need with full content seats.

Also, if you manage to complete the task, the module will not be on the vehicle communication buss and will not be capable of transmitting fault codes. You won'y be able to diagnose any issues.

Good luck...
