Bye Bye Lights

Okay here goes:

 

I was leaving the fireworks tonight and switched my lights from off to park (all normal) then to lights on. When I reached this mode, the headlights were off. The DRL's worked so I ended up driving home with the DRL's on and the switch in park mode. When I got on a rather empty stretch of road, I turned the switch back to the on position and the headlights went out, then I tried to flip the high's on and nothing. I am guessing that my switch crapped out on me, but I was looking for anyone that may have had a similar problem and if I should look elsewhere.

The first thing I would do is check the manual for the location of the headlight fuse in the fuse block and check if it is blown. Put in a spare and try them again....

Have you hooked up a trailer and plugged in trailer lights recently?

It does not affect anything but the headlights. i am thinking about a relay, since i cannot find the fuse.
