Has anyone installed an aftermarket ignition box on their truck that fires a duel spark?

I installed a Jacobs unit on my 94 v6 Exploder. The unit worked the first time for six weeks, and developed a miss that caused the check engine lite to come on. I sent it back to Jacobs (I paid the freight), and they revamped the control box, and returned it to me.

 

This second unit lasted about six months, and the same problem happened. Jacobs would not take it back as defective...they said there was nothing wrong with the unit. I can say when the unit was functioning, the truck ran like a raped ape.

 

If you are considering a unit, I am not sure I would go with a Jacobs.
