Emergency Tire Help Now!!!!

Need some good quick info. Tire guy is having trouble getting me the 285/75s I wanted for th rado 02 z71.

He's got a set of 305/70's

WILL THESE FIT???? How much difference are we talking about in size???

Anything else I should worry about beside rubbing. This truck is stock with stock rims and no lift. Torrsion bars are cranked up a little and It will get an alingment at the same time the tires are installed.

What do you all think?????

I have read that these will fit but I have no experience with them.

Based on a tire size calc they are virtually identical tire heights just the 305's are 2 centimeters wider or about 1 inch wider. I would ask the tire place if he could test fit them. I would guess they wouldn't be a problem with that small of a difference. May have slight rubbing at full lock.

I'm probably not much help but at least I could pass on the difference in size to put it into perspective.

dont think 305s would fit correctly on 7" rims

i saw a z71 with these size tires once. im pretty sure it had stock rims and i dont think it was lifted, maybe tbars cranked. but it looked pretty sweet. i also dont remember if the bumper was trimmed.

please dont rely on me though! im very unreliable!
