dusty interior

My husband and I just bought an '05 extended cab 4x4 Z71 with leather seats. Previously we owned an '03 extended cab 4x4 with bench, cloth seats. We thought with the upgrade we would no longer have trouble with the interior getting dusty from driving on our country dirt roads. We have had the Z71 for one week and everything is covered with a thick layer of dust. The dealer has said these pickups are just prone to this! What can be done about it? Thanks!

Don't you mean My-Ama

Sorry, Third generation native (believe it or not my great uncle was the first blacksmith for the city of miami when it was incorporated in the late 1800's) the old timers don't pronounce it the same as locals do today. couldn't help the poke..... Then there is the one about the American flag and the last one leaving.......

Hey I also noticed that I have a lot more dust in my Yukon than my other past vehicles. I thought with the cabin air filter it would be less. The factory air system is designed to keep carbon monoxide from building up, but it also lets in more dust.

I guess sneezing to death is better than the alternative.
