[email protected] My 2001 GMC Sierra XLT Z-71 appears to sit 1 inch lower on the left side than the right. Could this be a suspension problem? Are the shocks worn out? I have 82,000 miles on it and use it both on and off road. What are the best replacement shocks to give me a smooth on highway ride? Also what are the best tires for ride and reduced road noise?

Shocks do not hold the vehicle up, unless you have air shocks. Being a little low on the left seems to be a common issue on our trucks, though I get the impression this is something new after 82,000 miles?
