Amen on the Bilstein HD's....just put a set on my GMC and can not believe the difference in ride and handleing. The Michlens, I am sure, also make a huge difference over the POS Goodyears that came on the truck (stress fractures in the tread at 25K!).

Bilsteins get my vote!

Got me a set of 4 Gabriel's off of EBay from FruitRidgeAutomotive and put them on myself. $62 for a decent set of shocks to fit my 99 Rado. I did'nt need the expensive ones (Rancho, Bilstein) since I just drive to and from work and rarely haul anything. They ride good and are definetly an upgrade from factory shocks. I would do it again.

Just put the Bilstein HD's on mine and WOW!. What a nice difference  . I have a 2001 GMC 2500 2WD with 50,000 miles. The original front shocks were completely shot. With the Bilsteins, the ride is smoother but stiffer if that makes since. No longer a washy feeling at high way speeds. By the way...I found them cheapest at autozone.com plus they had free shipping and a free $20 gift card. It only took 5 days to get them with the free shipping.

I am looking at the KYB Monomax. I have been researching them alot lately and KYB is known for giving alot of performance for the money. They seem like the real deal especially if you are hauling or plowing.

Where do you guys pick up the Bilsteins?  Need to replace my 99 Z-71s with 90K and the local parts stores push Monroe or Gabriel.
