car wash

When I got my truck last year I bought an appearance kit with it. Resist All is the brand name on the kit. I really liked the car wash solution in the kit. It made the truck dry quick, bright, shiney and spotless. I have tried a few (like armor all, turtle wax car wash) they dont dry as nice and it seems they leave everything looking dull/hazy compared to the resist all kit I had. I stopped at the dealer and they only sell the whole kit which is $300. I hate to keep wasting money on on other car wash solution so I thought I would ask here. Thanks.

I have a bottle of Meguair's Crystal Clean (?) that seems to work quite well. You mix 1 oz per gallon of water. It seems to get the scunge off the paint and doesn't seem to affect the wax much. I use a microfiber mitt to wash, and microfiber towels to dry. I'll admit it leaves spots if you let it dry without toweling it off, but that might just be the rinse water.

I couldn't find it locally but found Meguiar's NXT Generation Car Wash everywhere so I thought I would try it. Although I still like the Resist All better Meguiars seems to be pretty good at $6 vs $300. LOL It definitely seems to work better then others I have tried. Only water spots I had were on the glass which really saved me time in drying. :seeya: Thanks for the recommendation! :sigh:

I use Meguiars Gold Class. I can easily control the amount of suds when filling the bucket, and my wash mitss glide over the paint with ease. Even when I wash a car without a good sealant or wax on it, the water sheets right off :sigh:
