4l60e Pan Depth

Is there any way to tell if I have the 2 1/4 or 2 7/8 inch deep pan just by looking underneath? I'm at work and want to pick the filter up on the way home. Does anyone have a picture of both that I could compare to? It's a 2001 2wd Subruban. My pan has a step in it, but I'm not sure if both sizes have a step or not. Thanks.

the pan with the step in it is the deep pan.
